About Kitakyushu Open Top Bus

Kitakyushu Open Top Bus - it's an observation deck running through the city. From an open-air bus, you can look up at wind turbines, and from the high vantage point, you can see an industrial area like a sci-fi movie. A spectacular panoramic view from a 3.2-meter-high window. It's truly like an attraction on wheels.

Vehicle Design

The vehicle used for operation is a 2-story structure approximately 3.8 meters high. From the open-air interior, you can enjoy a dynamic panoramic view. The vehicle features a yellow base color with sunflowers (Kitakyushu's city flower), popular tourist attractions in the city, and the beloved "Cosmic Seven-Star Spirit (Macaroni Alien)" cherished by residents, concentrating the charm of Kitakyushu.

Mojiko Course

A route where you can enjoy retro streets along the coast, the Mojiko Station (a nationally designated important cultural property), and the Kanmon Bridge connecting Honshu and Kyushu from directly below. Experience spectacular scenery.

※The company shall not be responsible for any damages to customers caused by the following.

  • ●Please take measures against heat stroke, cold, and sunburn at your own expense.
  • ●There are no restrooms inside the bus. There are also no restroom breaks during operation.
  • ●In rainy weather, the bus may be operated with the roof closed.
  • ●In rainy weather, we will provide simple ponchos (rain capes).
  • ●Please be careful when going up and down the stairs when boarding and alighting. In rainy weather, the stairs become very slippery, so please be especially careful.
  • ●Please be careful that hats and other personal items do not blow away in the wind.
  • ●Please refrain from using 'selfie sticks' and other devices attached to smartphones for photography.
  • ●Clothing may become wet or dirty due to wind, rain, or bird droppings.
  • ●For safety reasons, children cannot ride on a guardian's lap.
  • ●If severe wind and rain or other adverse weather conditions occur, or if warnings or alerts are issued by the Japan Meteorological Agency, the company may cancel operations at its discretion. In that case, the fare will be refunded.
